Surgical Orthodontics

For some patients, jaw surgery (orthognathic surgery) is an important part of their orthodontic treatment plan. These surgical procedures correct upper and lower jawbone discrepancies, resulting in a corrected occlusion (bite) and improved facial balance. Surgical orthodontics can address concerns with facial aesthetics as well as airway and TMJ problems. Please visit our Orthodontic Video Animation Library for more information on some surgical orthodontic treatments.
